There is hope as you've made it this far...
Community Gospel Church is a place where people from every walk of life, various cultural backgrounds, and even different generations are coming together to become a people of connection and compassion! As you look at a puzzle, the pieces only fit where there is relationship to another piece. Unlike a two dimensional jigsaw puzzle, we believe that our lives are molded and shaped by the connections we make through relationships.
At CGC, it is our desire to provide opportunities for people of all ages to make meaningful connections. Connections not only with one another, but also with God through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Motivated by compassion and connected in relationship and community, we hope to see our lives, our community, and our world transformed to become all God has intended for us.
Each week we seek to fellowship, worship, pray, learn, and grow together to become more like Christ.
Our nursery staff and Children's workers are there to provide a safe and child friendly environment to help your kids make meaningful connections too!
We invite you to be our guest, and you might just find your place in God's big puzzle!
We look forward to connecting with you and your family.

True Purpose
Read Hebrews 12:12–17
Maybe a recent funeral reminded you of the brevity of life. Maybe it was a sermon, a Scripture reading, a news report, a movie, or a conversation with a friend. Whatever the reason, sometimes death comes to mind—a subject normally ignored.
The funeral of a friend motivated Johnny to realize how brief life can be. Johnny decided not to let those thoughts bring him down. He chose to move toward making choices he had needed to make for a long time.
This verse became his guide:
Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14).
Before his time on earth would run out, Johnny made the decision to make the most of his days. He decided to pursue a life of relational peace and Christlike behavior. He could face the future of uncertainties and news reports and even death, knowing that he lived a life with his true purpose as the priority. He would live for God.
Thought for Today: Living with God’s purpose keeps us from traveling in life’s dangerous directions.
